Default Low oestrogen and thin uterine lining

    Hi all.
Sorry if this post contains TMI but I am at a loss as to what to do. I am currently day 21 of my first FET cycle. I had my first IVF in March, which was not successful but I got two snowbabies from it, and then had a month off in April. They have been tracking my oestrogen levels since Day 10 with a blood test every two days and it goes up and down between 0.3 and 0.5. I had a scan done on Day 19 and my lining is only 4mm thick, but I had one very large follicle in my right ovary.
The clinic has advised me my FET will probably be cancelled this month as it does not look like I have ovulated, my oestrogen is too low and my lining is too thin. In my IVF cycle, my lining was only just thick enough.
I have always had extremely light AF’s since coming off the pill almost two years ago. I also seem to have short luteal phases (around 10-12 days). I told the doctors this and they just seemed to want to try it naturally with no help at all from medications. But I feel like I am just wasting time and they should have investigated the light periods/thin lining earlier.
Has anyone else had anything similar and w
hat can I do to increase my thin lining?

Hi Krys, have you had any luck with your lining as I see it's been a few months since your post?

Strange your doctors have taken that approach. It's standard practice with our FS to put you on estrogen support to try and thicken the lining. I had similar issues to you, took medication and just got the lining to the minimum amount for transfer. No point in IVF if they don't manage the whole cycle to prevent miscarriage if your frosties implant. I'd be seeking a second opinion (my first 3 FS were only interested up to epu) I moved to a guru and had a successful cycle plus explanation of infertility.

Hi guys! Thanks for your thoughts. I ended up having a couple of ovarian cysts that month, hence no oestrogen being produced and the thin lining.
I saw an acupuncturist for a few months (before and after the cysts) which really helped and I am now 9 weeks pregnant from a FET cycle.
