Default Really strange baby dreams :(

    Is this normal?

I'm having really weird dreams. Like last night I dreamt I was breastfeeding my new baby and she had no skin but I was enjoying the breastfeeding so much and I felt so much love on waking up. The other night I dreamt she only had lips but really beautiful lips.

Anyway so today I went for a 3D scan and it wasn't nice. She didn't look like a baby to be honest it freaked me out a bit. I saw horns and fangs DH thinks I'm crazy because he saw a baby even my toddler saw the face, nose and eyes. I didn't. I couldn't.

Only 5 weeks before my c section why am I freaking out? I didn't have this with dd1!

    Anyone else? Hope it's normal?

What do you mean by you saw horns and fangs? Not literally, obviously? This scans are sometimes fuzzy, it doesn't represent the gorgeous little bub in there by the sounds of it.
Strange and vivid dreams are common in pregnancy, I remember dreaming that I gave birth and when the nurse handed my baby to me, it was a cat wrapped up in blanket! Lol.

Haha Marigold I sound crazy. Well on the baby looking at the scan instead of seeing what DH and DD were seeing I could see horns, fangs just weird objects and no baby the photos you get to take home are really not like I expected either.

My mind is seriously doing strange things!

Oh my pregnancy dreams are so out Dh has almost wet himself when I tell him them. I often have the same out there dream over and over again.
One dream i had 21 years ago still haunts me.
I came across a caravan type food place (like you see at shows) who was grilling up a whole Albano elephant seal and was still alive. It was crazy.

Op no real advice here just that I'm thinking of you.
I've been having really vivid dreams including last night's effort which seemed to be all about giving birth to a severely disabled and deformed baby. But I didn't notice at first until someone at child care, who delivered my baby, pointed it out. Then I freaked out. Obviously the dream made no sense. A child care centre is not going to deliver the baby!
I've heard that vivid dreams are common in pregnancy. It's just awful that they have to be so negative in our cases instead of vivid in a more positive way.
Maybe chat to your Ob or midwife about it. Mine said it could be my fears showing themselves in my dreams. Or that hormones upset all kinds of things during pregnancy.
Wishing you all the best for the home stretch

I am 35 weeks tomorrow and haven't had many dreams till last night. Last night's dream was awful. I dreamt I went for a back massage at one of those little stores in the shopping centres, and the guy doing the massage err... Slipped his hand up my skirt and assaulted me. It was horrible, because after that I just dreamt all the fall out for like a year afterwards and I woke up not knowing if it was true or not! Yuck...

Anyway OP, I am sure your baby will be beautiful. Fx for sweet dreams tonight.

Haha LoCo I'll put in an order for sexy dreams over the crazy i've been dreaming! I know your Mum is probably trying to help, but seriously, it's not like this is a choice! I bet you don't go to bed saying to yourself "here's hoping for a really mean nasty cruel dream tonight! Goodie!"
