    Yep - happened to me this pregnancy, currently 18weeks :-) I looked at the drs test and could see a faint line. It was only faint, but still there. I think they ere on the side of caution. Best of luck op

    Yes, I had positive FRER, then negative at the doctor's, then 2 negative HRER the following day, then positive bloods, then positive tests from then on. Also, my first HCG from my bloods was 12. I also had a substantial bleed at 9 weeks, another bleed at 32 weeks, and a suspected stroke. My 19 month old is currently babbling away in his crib.

    Just a quick update - got my HCG level back today and it's only risen from 29 on Monday afternoon to 41 on Wednesday afternoon. Also had a slight pink tinge on toilet paper this morning. So now just waiting for my period to turn up. I'm so sad that this isn't going to be our miracle baby. Life is just so damn cruel and unfair to us.

    Well, I may still be in with a chance after all as my HCG had risen from 41 on Wednesday afternoon to 87 at 12pm today. More bloods on Monday afternoon. Fingers crossed
