Default Flinders Medical Centre Public, Adelaide. Experiences? Feedback?

Flinders is my closest hospital and I have my first antenatal appointment in July.

I would love to hear about your experiences with Flinders.

I would prefer to go to the birthing centre and opt for a natural birth but I've already had people saying their sarcastic, 'good luck'. I was confident before but am now a little afraid. I don't use medication and prefer natural therapies, I don't even take panadol so the thought of an epidural is scary to me!

    Thank you ladies!

Hi. I work as a nurse in the hospital and also had a bub there 8 weeks ago. I didn't go thru birthing centre just in a lovely big updated birthing room. But I hear wonderful things about the other section
I laboured at home and arrived fully dilated so didn't spend much time there
    The midwives are lovely.
All single rooms once up in maternity ward
All midwifes on ward are really helpful with a very professional manner with heaps of advice
Lots of home visits after discharge too
