    3 kids

Subaru outback. I love my car. Would never consider any other make.

We have heaps of room, plus huge boot space.

Thanks everyone for your responses! It's interesting to see what works for other families.

We have a second hand Volvo xc60 (5seater). It's perfect for 2 kids but we carried an extra child over the weekend and it was very squishy in the back. The two in the boosters found it really difficult to get their belts done up with the another car seat in the middle.

I really need the kids to be able to hop in and manage their own seat belts for school pick up.

Boot space is fantastic but 2 extra seats would be very handy!

I've heard the Volvo xc90 is fantastic for fitting three seats across the middle row & it has the extra two seats that fold away when not in use. It's supposed to be very roomy and safe but $$$$.
