I agree I like toys r us for things you can't find anywhere else but they are more expensive and those laybuy terms are ridiculous. They do have frozen dolls so will be heading there sometime on wednesday. The laybuy fee really makes the savings not worth while though so will need to buy.

I wanted to know if target will have something first because they'll be cheaper.

But don't forget toys r us will price match - so bring your target catalogue and show them and they will match the price

I have never done the toy sales as i prefer to buy closer to christmas as DS interests change, but i will be buying a tampoline. Will pop it on layby as i will need the time to pay it off.

The target sale doesn't start until the end if July and the catelogue isn't out yet though.

Yes, plus even general prices are cheaper at big w etc. so often there's no catalogue.

My son is going through the catalogue now and circling what he likes so Santa can see. Pretty much everything is getting circled lol but he's having a lovely time!

We had the Big W and Toys R Us catalogues put in our mail box today. DS spent ages reading them and getting so excited! He's madly into Monster Jam (monster trucks from USA) and there's a big remote control one in there I might get him, but will give it to him for his 4th birthday end of October I think rather than Christmas. We're also getting a trampoline for both kids as the existing one broke recently.

Omg it took me soooo long to realise frozen dolls meant the dolls from the movie frozen ... I was picturing dolls that you chuck in the freezer thinking I wonder why they are so popular??!!! Drifter much?!

Here are my issues with Toy Sale - Big W - so far.
    1. The online lay by is great but you really only have 3 months to make your payments. That's not easy, or convenient - brings me to 2.
    2. Going instore. There are a few issues here:
    - Apparently if you have a rewards card you can already go in store and layby toys until christmas. Granted the entire stock isn't out yet, but what's the point in that?
    - It's always rushed, busy, rain checks and missing stock.
    3. The delivery cost. Give me a break. Last year they put my two huge items in separate laybys so they could charge me twice. They came on the same truck.
