Second this... I know it might be hard to get to the store with a newborn - maybe DP could pick them up? Takes two to tango

Good on you for being able to / wanting to so soon!!!

My understanding is that the mini pill is safe to take pretty early on, but not sure when exactly

Hehe yeah. I was pretty lucky and my labour was very quick and only got a first degree tear. So it wasnt to bad to get back in the swing again. ;-)

Wow. I had no tears but still wasn't up for it 4 weeks post partum! Good on you! I would strongly suggest condoms at least though- there is a name for people who use the withdrawal method... Parents you may well be fully fertile again especially since you're not bf.

Condoms are also to prevent infection post birth!

If ur not BF then I think pretty much anything is fine....guess that's why ur up for it.....I had an ec so thought it would be fine, but with the BF it's really like being menopausal and everything is so sensitive even now over a Yr later so I have no interest....hubby tries occasionally but I think he realises I have no interest! I've long since learnt it doesn't feel that great, I guess when I stop BF.....maybe, lucky I don't want another one....have them on ice anyway ha ha!
