I have a friend called Elsa. It's a beautiful name. Despite seeing/hearing Frozen 1054 times I don't associate the name with the movie.

Elsa is a gorgeous name (as is Elsie).
Does not make me think of the movie at all.

I think it is a beautiful, timeless name. And every girl loves the Disney connection, but I doubt after awhile people will make the connect, especially after the hype

Love the movie love the name. I do think of frozen, but I wouldn't at all assume that you named your baby that because of the movie.

Not like I'd assume someone was a GoT fan if they named their baby Khaleesi or Arya or Sansa.

It's a beautiful name, and if we were having another baby I would definitely use it! It's also my Nan's middle name so it would be special to me, and that shows how old and timeless the name is!

I went to a primary school with a girl named Elsa. She was a really nice person and I loved her name as it was really uncommon back then.

I don't associate the name with the film at all - if someone said the name to me, I'd think of the girl I went to primary school with, not the film character.

Loved it before I'd seen the movie. It wouldn't stop me using it if this bub was a girl.
