Default Sydney based people please help ;)

What is a good day out for a 3yr old boy?it's DS's 3rd bday next Wednesday and DH is taking the day off work so we want to do something fun with DS.

We have done zoo, aquarium etc so would like something different.

Any ideas? We are based on the northern beaches - do t mind travelling a bit but don't want to be stuck in traffic wasting valuable fun time!

    Thanks

There is a lot of stuff to do at Darling Harbour besides Aquarium. If there weather is good then the play ground and the water park are loads of fun.

Google "darling harbour water park" and the first link that comes back has a website with lots of pictures.

At 3 he's probably old enough to play Putt Putt/Mini Golf for something new.

If he's into boats the Maritime Museum is definitely worth a visit. There is heaps of stuff there to see, plus you can have a look around a navy submarine & tall ship as well.

Luna park - they have toddler rides and Coney Island which my 3 year old loves
and it's beautiful overlooking the harbour - you can go for a walk on the foreshore and catch a ferry maybe to Manly for fish and chips on the beach

    Agree on this one.

There's also a Wiggles exhibition there with lots of stuff to play with.
