There's an ad on TV for an instant loan company and the man walks into the kitchen and says "honey, I've accidentally laminated the cat". I can't stop laughing.

When you shampoo your hair twice in one shower, why does it soap up so much more the second time?

Because the first wash has removed all the oil which is an anti foam agent 😁

Because there is less oil and dirt in your hair which frees up sufactants to make more lather.

There is a great Reddit post where a chemist who makes the ingredients for shampoo explains it all really well. I'm not sure if I can't post the link, but if you Google "Why does shampoo lather less in dirty hair than clean hair?" it should come up.

my random thought. im short, I have to move the car seat quite close to the steering wheel to reach the pedals. my question, could I be too close to an air bag if I was in an accident? I know there is a danger for children. marie.

I think yes you can be too close. I have short legs too so I'm in the same boat with one car I drive.

I have a vague recollection of being told at a safe driver course that your chest should be about 30cm from the steering wheel because of airbags. If you're too close you can get smothered/break your nose etc when they inflate if you're too close. I could be making it up completely of course.

@SuperGranny ....Sit as far back from the steering wheel as you can. I was in an accident 9 years ago and suffered burns from the air bags on my stomach and chest and add also my nose. It was beyond painful. I am short too but am now more aware of how close I am sitting.

Why do tv channels still advertise things as live when they aired 3 hours ago over east?
