Now that I know that Barry Manilow is gay, I keep wondering if the newspaper headlines said 'Barry Man-I-Blow'.

    Maybe I'm overthinking it...

    Lol

I normally have a really good gaydar having hung around the scene for a couple years way back when, but I was absolutely stunned when I found out Wentworth Miller was gay.

And I was mildly stunned but not surprised when I found out Jim Parsons was too but not nearly as falling over shocked when I found out he was 42!

Why do humans roll their eyes when we are annoyed about things? Why does it make us feel better to do it? How did it evolve?

Maybe it stems from that whole 'you look left when you lie, right when you're telling the truth' or whatever it is. Maybe we look up when we detect bullish!t which causes us to roll our eyes?!

I started researching this after I read your post. The kids called me away before I was finished (rude, much?!) and it was on my phone (I'm now on the computer)... did you know eye rolling was recorded as early back as Shakespeare? But it meant the opposite.. like, trying to be flirty, sexy, come-hitherly..! Right up into the 1900's actually.. I'll finish reading it later on and let you know the answer
