    Actually they do. I remember my brother's cat getting annoyed at her kittens when they got a bit older and having to pull them into line so to speak.

    And she spent the first couple of weeks just lazying around all day feeding them and sleeping when she could.

    I know I've mentioned this before, but I just don't get 'maths'. Did we invent it or did we discover it? How did we know that the base 10 system would work the best? What would a base 6 system look like?

    Because base 10 follows a simple visual pattern and is easier to follow than base 6

    You're right of course. But, how did they know that? Trial and error? Is all of our maths only this way because of an arbitrary decision? Or did it lie within nature for us to uncover?
