Absolutely. Meerkats and ferrets are the best to watch do it. Even my boring old chooks talk to each other. Not sure how they decide who to like but I swear my chooks are racist - the 2 black ones hang out together and the 2 brown ones are always separate.

How exactly do ferrets do it? I've never noticed. They sniff each other's butts to determine who is who, like dogs do but I have not ever noticed anything else.

As for racist pets, I think my ferrets are too..lol. the sables all hang out together/sleep in the same hammock and the whites all do the same with each other.

When I had chooks, they talked to each other all the time, and they talked to me as well. I miss them.

Yes our chooks are racist too... White ones vs brown ones! Even the sleeping arrangements they keep seperate.

They kinda chirrup and make little noises to each other - and their owners. Ferrets make awesome pets but DH doesn't seem to agree with me I've only been bitten once and that was because I was trying to look at the mouth of a ferret with sore teeth.

Does Roald Dahl (well his estate) receive royalties from the Wonka chocolate factory? They were just showing some competitian on tv where you can win a tour, complete with oompaloompa by buying a Wonka chocolate and finding a Golden ticket.

Mine too I've still got all my mums copies of Famous Five and Secret Seven. Even though some of the pages have had to be taped back in, I could never get rid of them.

Why can I be wide awake after DS goes to sleep at 10pm when he has a feed instead of going to sleep as well!
