Because there's always a miniscule chance that one day I'll move to Hollywood and marry them. Duh
But then they go and get involved with someone else, completely quashing my dreams, leaving me gutted.

Why is it that every time I'm browsing the shops but can't afford to buy anything, I see soooo many perfect things, especially clothing, but when I go with the sole purpose of actually making a purchase, the shops are full of crap I don't like?

I have a theory on this. It is not a big thought jump from humans breastfeeding to realising that mammals do the same. I reckon it would have stemmed from a desperate situation with an orphaned baby or animal and grown from there.

I want to know who decided that people want to be inundated by reality tv shows like the Kardashians, real housewives, jersey shore etc. I feel like they're just dumbing down the world.

I also often wonder how someone thought up the internet. And the ability to transfer data through cyberspace with no physical trail.

Reality TV started with the likes of Survivor. It was a MASSIVE hit in it's first season. Exec's would have realised the market after seeing how cheap it was to produce (not having to shell out thousands to pay the people for starters) and the rest would have spawned from there.

The internet was first used as an army tool- can't remember for which country- it was a while ago I learnt all this! As a ways of communication from one base to another. The World Wide Web, well that was due to a British dude taking the idea and running with it.
And there is always a trail of data transfer. It's just that only super geeks well trained in the know-how can find it

I never got into survivor, but I can understand how it became popular (given it's now in it's 30th season or something), but the Kardashians? I can't fathom how people find it interesting. Or how people can become famous just by having a reality show (and of course a sex tape).

Why is it that now I have a cleaner, I have the motivation to make sure the house is clean before she comes? Surely I can cancel the cleaner now and just be good at cleaning? Alas, it doesn't work that way...

I am now thinking that I am the only person on the Hub who likes Christopher Pyne, and I am not afraid to say it! He was Patron of the Young Liberals when I was a member and studying in Adelaide, and went out of his way to help us and be active in the Young Lib Movement.

I'm going to get flamed for admitting this, hey?!!
