    Default Allergy?

So I took DS (12 weeks) to meet some friends today, it didn't go so well

After about 2 minutes he was crying inconsolably, not even offering a BF would calm him. I've never heard him so upset. He also had a rash from his eyes down to his knees. Red with raised blotches and dots. He finally calmed after about half an hour but still upset so I took him to the hospital...

When I got there he was asleep and the rash had gone from his face and legs so I took him home.

We got home and he's perfectly happy, fed well and back to his normal self - but with a bit of a rash on his torso.

I was thinking he might have been allergic to one of their perfumes? He smelled quite strong so I changed his clothes...

    Any ideas???

Could the rash have been due his crying? Maybe he got himself so worked up his little body reacted by breaking out in hives or heat rash?
My first thought was roseola, but then you said it quickly disappeared so it couldn't be that.
Or like you said, maybe it was just a reaction to their perfume or similar.
