I love how everyone can jump on the bandwagon and judge this woman who they don't even know, AND no one was there except the OP.

Not saying you are lying OP, but sometimes we can be sensitive to how people act and talk and WHAT IF you just read too much into her slightly snappy tone? Or if she was blatantly rude, WHAT IF she had a darn good reason? Not saying it's ok to snap at a stranger and be rude, just saying NO ONE is perfect, and we all have our bad days, I actually think it's pretty childish to come on a public forum and start *****ing about a woman who cannot defend herself!

I know it started out as a vent and that's fine, we all need to vent now and then but it seems to be turning into almost a witch hunt.
@SAgirl um.... I simply said I thought her behavior was rude. I didn't judge her life. .. her clothes. ..her pram (bugaboo by the way)... Nothing. I just said what she did was rude. And it was. No I'm not lying. .. I certainly do not think I read too much into her tone. . She was rude. Even my mum said she was rude. She wouldn't move out of the way to enable me to use a free change station.

You don't know me yet you've implied I'm a liar..a bad judge of character... and childish. Then you've said I'm b-ing about someone who can't defend themself like I'm some coward.
    Seriously?
I've been around BH a fair while now and I've NEVER been called these things. I'm actually a pretty nice person.

Sorry I still stand by my opinion of there is no reason to be rude to a stranger for no reason. Im not saying people have to become best buds with everyonr they meet, but being polite is not difficult.

I don't think there is ever a "darn good reason" to be rude to someone like that.

Yep, rude, and a bit weird too. But I guess there are lots of rude/weird people in the world and some of them also happen to be mums.
It's half the reason I love coming on bubhub, I have never thought of being mad at someone for touching my pram, now I've learned something new today!

I totally agree. What gives people the right to act like morons just because they've had a bad day. Tamtam was in a PUBLIC place using a PUBLIC change station. Move your crap lady! Totally with you on this one OP. Just because I'm having a crappy day doesn't give me the right to be rude and nasty to people. Period.

    Yeh thoughtless IMO.
Had to laugh on the inside at some of the replies!
My main thought is get your crap together when you go to change your kid. I had boys that would pee and poop all over the place so I knew when we went to change I had to be prepared. I used to take a washer to throw over his butt and was all set up before I started. It only takes a minute and only takes a second to think about where to park your stuff so it's out of the way.
It is a public space so take care to keep your things out of the way if you don't want it touched.
Just like when I was shopping today I had to keep moving my kids if I didn't want them hit by trolleys.
If you're having a bad day it's never acceptable to take it out on a stranger.

See, my main thought is that this matter has been given way too much consideration and airtime already and I worry for the state of the world when we give this kind of 'issue' (for want of a better word) so much analysis .

I see where you're coming from but the thing I like about Bubhub is being able to talk about things and to analyse them to the nth degree...not always, but sometimes...in this case though, the parents room is a very well frequented place for me these days...so, I'm happy to talk about it...I *love* to go shopping at a place with a good parents room

Edit: as opposed to the places who have a room for bad parents
