    Not testing today, maybe tomorrow.

Dealing with a squealing teething toddler in 30 degree heat today. Wish he'd do us both a favour and have a nap

It's a rare occurance...only happened with the boys, and probably once each. I think when all the stars were aligned (ie. if it's pointing out the side and the nappy is squished up a bit or is suddenly full). It makes me definitely make sure we have a fresh diaper on every time before wearing. I wear a lot as it gives me more hands!

Teething sucks! We were silly enough to go outside and do some gardening in this weather! Garden looks nice now though.

So when daddy puts the nappy on? I always make sure its pointing down.

Yes! We learnt early on to always point down, but sometimes it is a little sneaky sneaky and bends out a little sideways. H has only done it once in 4 months but I do remember the other boys doing it once each too. DH is pretty good with the nappies. Sometimes needs a reminder to change a wet one, but other than that he's quite good - dirty nappies always get changed straight away. If a creche/childcare person changes one I always have to check -DD came home with only one butt cheek covered once and very loose. Must have been a newbie.

I remember one of my nephews once at Christmas time - we'd all knew that he'd dirtied and his parents were there...and questioned as to why they weren't changing it as it smelt quite acidic, let alone the fact of who wants to sit for any period of time in poo. Apparently they wanted to make sure he was finished - took them 30minutes to get off the couch and do it - lazy and I think it is also neglect. Poor child's bottom was raw.

Yeah my DH is usually good too but not as thorough. We never knew when ds did a poo when he was younger as he did it silently and it didn't smell!
