Okay - cake in oven now, time is a bit tight to get it all sorted. Did out a plan a couple of days ago of things I have to achieve each day.

There were some lovely pumpkins to show off! It did take a while to check them all out.

My mum used to tell me to put my head down and tail up whenever I had an assignment due - drove me batty, and what's worse is that I now think of that phrase each time I am working on one.

Lol. My mum used to say the same thing. Or maybe it was a teacher? I say it at work sometimes without thinking. It was great chatting with you the other night. Drop by again sometime!

Filled a prescription to increase my milk supply today. I hate that I barely get 100mls a day and she needs formula.

Have you tried lactation cookies yet?

The best thing for supply is directly bfing...is she still refusing? Bigs hugs xx any amount of bm is great so don't feel bad that she only gets a little bit. You're doing a great job and are a great mummy!

Haven't tried the cookies as I have zero time to get ingredients and bake them. She's still refusing the breast.

I had a great feeder and didn't know until a few weeks in that DS was dehydrated due to lack of milk...and that was why he was screaming. Kept super hydrated, pumping after feeds, tried meds and nothing worked. If I did anything during the day I lost more milk. If I sat and did nothing but sleep, drink and eat I would also get 100ml max for the day. I still kept on giving what I could from BF first for six months followed by a bottle. I also lost no weight through BF like others do. I was told it was probably linked to my PCOS/hormones somehow but due to inconsistences in PCOSer's ability to BF there has not been much study into it. My mother had no problems and I'm hoping that DD won't have problems either. I never dreamt that I wouldn't be able to exclusively BF.

Do what you can and the best you can. If that is what you are doing do not beat yourself up - your baby is fed, happy and loved (It took me quite some time to reach this point!). I wasn't able to feed my others like I did our first as by then I was running around after toddlers and had so little milk it was ridiculous.

I came across some BFer's that couldn't comprehend that someone was not able to produce milk properly or even be helped to produce milk and would say some very unhelpful things. Hopefully you won't come across this.

Let us know how you get on. Have you been pumping post feeds?
