36 weeks LT. YAYYYYY!!! I'm about to start IVF (provided AF arrives soon & not when I'm interstate, in which case we won't start until August or September). All of our tests were clear & I had like 40 follies on my scan, so IVF should do the trick. I'm impatient to start (pretty normal for me), but at the same time disappointed it came to this when there's nothing demonstrably wrong with either of us. Grrrr.

On the plus side, I finish my Masters in 2 weeks. Yay. Maybe I'll do a 3rd after I've had my bubs? Or maybe a PhD. Lol.

I'm looking forward to hearing about your new bub's safe arrival. I wish you'd join us on Facebook so we can see squishy bubba pics.

The scholarship I wanted to apply for will most likely not be offered anymore (change of government).

Nope. Our mortgage requires both of our current salaries, with only a bit of wriggle room. An APA scholarship would be too much of a drop... unless they've increased since I last checked and are tax free...

LT I had no idea about pcos possibly being linked to lack of supply. I really hope that's not the case for me I guess only time will tell.

Shadow - That's terrific about the weight loss and your cycles getting shorter. Hopefully it will help. I know I was unable to fall on longer cycles. I'll be joining you soon on the weightloss mission - I hate to think how much I put on but if bub gets here nice and safely it will all be worth it.

Jessy - It's great when they have that extra long sleep. My kids tend to do them most often when we have a restriction, ie. an appt or school pick up! Can Grace reach the light switch? DS1 will be 6 very soon, with DS2 4 and DD 2 (nearly 3) - DH and I were talking last night about the gap in between DS1 and this last one. It was going to be 4.5 years with our first planned pregnancy for this bub but now of course is going to be over 6 with nearly 3 years in between DD and bub - I just hope bub doesn't feel left out. He has long legs according to scan so far so hopefully will be able to hold his own.

Funchu - It does take forever to start IVF - we were supposed to start the next month after we fell with DS1 as they wouldn't give me any more drugs to try naturally and it had nearly been 3 years of TTC with help. Hopefully you have luck first go and there is always the chance that a pregnancy might help what is preventing you from falling this time. Congratulations on finishing your Masters!!! I still have 3 subjects to go and won't finish until the end of next year. Thinking about doing a couple of extra subjects after I finish to cover me to teach a wider age group of students as the Ed Dept. changed the rules after I did my original degree! I even made a specific enquiry at the time to ensure what I could do, otherwise I would have switched courses. Now of course they have combined the two degrees differently so that it is all covered. I too am a bit concerned about how much it will cost though if all of the new changes go through.

AWC - Well, I can't write BT anymore! I'd like to join and I don't have problems sharing things with you all, just not sure on FB. Haven't ruled it out yet.

It doesn't happen to all women with PCOS apparently - perhaps it is dependent on an unidentified factor to do with PCOS. I wish I could remember where I read it now. I'll have a look later in the day but better get going now or we'll all be late! Have a great day

I should have held off on posting yesterday. DH and I have decided to take a few months off & start in October. Timing will be better for him finishing his Masters mid next year. I also want to lose some weight. Good luck finishing your course & doing the extra few subjects. What age groups will you teach?

Its about 25k/year tax free. Not much when you have a mortgage!
