My Gf Sent out a txt 2 weeks ago asking people when they see her baby to not post pictures on facebook.
I thought that was a great idea.

When we visited my BFF and their new bub, her husband just said "no social media" when we took photos. Worked for them.

    Ugh.

Hoping that that doesn't happen with us. In terms of family, will be telling mom dad and sister, mil and sil.....hopefully they can restrain themselves.

I remember once we announced our pregnancy on FB they both posted pretty quick thereafter - they were busting!

    I'm subbing to...
And I too am an intruder.
Dh and I have already stopped people from writing on our walls on Facebook etc.
And when we send out a text saying baby is here we will be saying no social media.
We still haven't put it on Facebook at all.
We will probably do one pic with all details a few days after baby is born and we are home etc but apart from that we don't want pictures of our kids all over Facebook.
Except for our group of course!

I had to get DH to call his dad to take off a msg he put on my wall straight after bub was born I saw it and was cranky hadn't even told my friends yet, he gets excited and puts everything up there if you don't say no to him. Only my mum and sis saw though as no one else was looking out for it

That would drive me crazy. You can hide things off your timeline now which is good. Means you don't have to rely on the other person removing it.
