    Default Weaning

    Hey all,

Just wondering how you weaned your bub? My DS is nearly 22 months and I'm 13 weeks pregnant, my nipples are SO sore, I just can't do it anymore! So I've already cut feeds down to feeding to sleep and then he feeds through the night (sleeps with us in bed)... Sometimes he'll feed 6 times in the night, sometimes twice, sometimes not at all...

My friend said she slept in a different bed for a week and that it only took her DD about 3 nights to sleep through but she stayed away a few more nights just to make sure, then she cut out the sleep time feed...

Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated!!!! Thanks in advance

For night weaning I used Jay Gordon's method which was very gentle. I've not day weaned though.

I also used dr jay Gordons method. It took 3 nights with dd1 and no real tears. One tantrum tho. Dd2 it was longer so 1 week and lots of tantrums.

    Eta. Dd1 was 14 mths. Dd2 15 mths.

20 months and no not really. A bit of a grizzle the first 2 nights but that was it.
