I think that happens a lot on the AVN page.
It sure does. They often delete opposing views or anything that may be seen to question the antivax stance. They are one disgraceful group. They banned me from their page some time ago when I got into a discussion with Meryl Dorey; she was trying to tell me that SIDS was caused by vaccines.
...you can imagine how that went down

I saw this interview today in my travels it's from 2011 and the anti vax lady is a couple if sandwiches short by the sounds of it, but the professor seemed to have some really good insights. Would the bit about only the unvaccinated dying from VPD be true?

@Wally90 the lady is Viera Scheubner. She's a retired micro paleontologist. She has no qualifications regarding vaccines. She's a nutter and a liar- dangerous combo.

Yeah I did some googling and discovered that pretty quick.

The original study only involved 12 children, but these parents were recruited through anti-MMR campaigns.
And further, the original 'study' didn't even purport to find a link between autism and MMR, only between bowel issues and autism. It was Wakefield in the subsequent press conference (and since) who made the link.

She lives quite close to me, unfortunately. I've crossed swords with her in the letters section of the local paper a few times. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Viera_Scheibner

I don't think you can say that only unvaccinated people die from VPDs, but there is certainly evidence that vaccines are 80-99% (depending on the vaccine) effective at preventing the disease completely, and even if not prevented then reducing the severity of illness. e.g.: http://cid.oxfordjournals.org/content/35/2/162.full
