@Tamtam probably not. I don't actually think we have any non vaxxers on bubhub who don't vax because of a fear of autism. I know we have in the past, but those members aren't active, I think. But I could be wrong!
LOL a study of lot's of studies is called a meta - analysis and is actually a study itself, and it is also peer reviewed. But I guess if it is one that supports the pro -vaccination stance then it must be wrong :/
I am going to have a read through it tonight, although i don't need convincing myself it always helps to be aware of the existing literature on the topic.

I just had a look on their page again to see if there were any more enlightened comments, but the original post (started by a pro-vaxxer) and subsequent anti-vax/big pharma comments have now all been deleted.
I think that happens a lot on the AVN page.
And then you have the devil woman Jenny McCarthy pushing the nonsense on people who don't think for themselves.
I once heard a woman I know say she refuses to vaccinate her child and solely relies on other people vaccinating their children. Seriously!!!!
Didn't Sarah Wilson say something against vaccine science at some point. gah!
And the shame of it all is that all the time these semi celebrities spend trying to defend their position (which in turn has be to disputed) is time that can't be spent investigating areas where science has shown some strong leads such as genetic research and early development in utero. The more we know the more power we have, but yet these so called "mum warriors" drain our resources by having to prove them wrong - and if we don't prove them wrong....well then the rates of many preventable diseases rise, as we have seen. That is the real shame of it all. And even now, when science has shown over and over that there is not link, they do not want to give up their stance..that is just pig headed really.
Pregnant for the first-time?
