My opinion would be-It's still wrong but it's necessary is my view. So yes it's still not a good thing to do but in a situation where there are not other options it's justified

ETA...we have been stolen from, and we struggle to get where we are as it is. It's not like we can just go out and buy more. The latest thing stolen was an i4 phone and it wasn't so much the phone we cared about...it was the pics we lost and can never replace.
Stealing from supermarkets still impact people. We can go on about big business but at the end of the day less sales = less staff and higher prices.

Oh course stealing is wrong, when life is in black and white.

I would steal to feed my child. Dumpster diving is technically illegal but that's what I would do. I've had to accept food from charity places before and there is a limit to what they can give. Sometimes it isn't enough.

    This.

I would beg. Dumpster dive etc.. before stealing but if it was my only choose left I would.

I dunno, I am torn. I would like to say it is still not right. But I feel conflicted.

    Thoughts?
Is this question inspired by the current budget? My answer certainly is-- Yes if my children were starving and I was left with no alternative I would steal to feed them yes.

It might be wrong, but I would steal to feed my family if I had to, I'm not sure I'd be any good at it, but I'd do absolutely anything to keep my kids alive, without a doubt.

Is it right to steal? Generally not.

Is it right to let your children starve? Of course not.

    Which is more wrong?
