It would be either steal or kidnap a science teacher and force him to make meth. Heisenberg styles

As a last resort, no, you would have no other option. But if it were me I'd sooner ask a stranger for money than steal. But if that didn't work I'd do what it took to get food for my son no question. It's not wrong if you're desperate and have exhausted every other avenue.

    I have to agree

It's still wrong but if that's the ONLY option then I would do it

    I'd rather steal than beg.

Yes it's wrong but that doesn't mean I wouldn't do it… In fact I don't have kids yet but if I had exhausted all other avenues I would steal to feed myself…doesn't mean I would like it and I'm sure it would never come to that fortunately.

I don't think you're in the minority in that one. But the problem I have with this is that I have been stolen from a number of times in my life and its an awful feeling, especially when I've been totally broke myself. If people could find the courage to ask for help then at least people have the option of helping if they are able, rather than being stolen from. It's an awful feeling to be stolen from, even if you aren't poor yourself. It's awful in various levels. I came home from school once and walked in on a burglar. It was this big man and I was a 15 year-old girl. He shoved me and ran off. He may have been very needy who knows, but it put me in a very bad situation. Not cool.

It's still wrong, but I'd do it of there was absolutely no other option. Even then, I'd probably try to limit my criminal activities to large supermarkets or other places that can afford to lose it rather than stealing from another destitute family or similar.

I would never steal from a person...it would only be what I needed from a supermarket.
ETA...we have been stolen from, and we struggle to get where we are as it is. It's not like we can just go out and buy more. The latest thing stolen was an i4 phone and it wasn't so much the phone we cared about...it was the pics we lost and can never replace.
