When DS was born we did a British theme and now he had a nautical theme. It's quite easy to find red/navy/antique looking items.

The nautical theme is my favorite of the two. At the end of his cot I stuck roll on blackboard paper so the picture can change. This was my first try ImageUploadedByThe Bub Hub1400492654.563333.jpg

When my DS was born it was jungle animals. Then at 1year ish it changed to transport. At 3 it went to dinosaurs. 5 it was aliens/monsters and now at 6 it's unfortunately ninjago (his choice ) .

Ps I never did wall stickers (always to scared it would take some paint/gyprock off the walls). I always just decorated with bed cover, cushions, wall art (canvas, height chart, framed pictures etc), ornament type things like money boxes, book ends etc
