Found out my boyfriend cheated on me, stayed with him for another 6 months (because I was stupid). Booked a trip to Europe without him (you can tell how this is going to end huh). My 6 week trip lasted 5 years, had an absolute ball, I met now DH during that time and can't believe how different my life could have been if I'd not bought that ticket at 21!

At 21 I was living in the inner city in a unit with my then fiancé whom I had met when I was living overseas and moved to Australia to be with me (we broke up 9 years later), I was working full time, had 2 Cats who were my babies ( sadly one passed away last year ) was learning to drive, and was a mere 48kgs.

Life was great, all my holidays were spent overseas and many social events to attend to and I would hair model in my spare time.

Seems like a million years ago now.

My mum passed away, I moved back home to help my dad raise my 7 year old sister. 21 was a crappy year!

At 21 I was running a home pet care business as well as working very long hours in retail. I had a long term partner, and I spent all my spare time riding my horses and going to karate. I only drank once a week, but I drank too much when I did. I actually have a very poor memory of my early-mid twenties and I think it's because I probably did a bit of damage with the amount I drank when I went out.
I was very unhappy, and looking back now I wish I'd have put more work into finding a loving partner and starting a family earlier than I did. I was never happy until I had my children.
