I was in my final year of uni and there full time, working 5 shifts a week in retail, engaged to dh (we got married just after turning 22), and frantically applying for my first professional job. I'm still in that job now, 9 years later...

I was in my 3rd year at uni web I turned 21, but the majority was my 4th year so living back home and travelling to uni whilst working in my first teaching position during the day. (There is a story as to how I was still in uni but also teaching )

I was living 5 houses down the road from besties.

I was trying to validate myself through one night stands every weekend.

I was playing an coaching a grade netball.

I was living in my own unit, alone, and loving it.

I was spending money on clothes, shoes, make up and partying.

I was going out every single weekend and coming home plastered. Sometimes on a weeknight. Ok, often on a weeknight.

I was happy and sad all at once. I was surrounded by friends and family but I still felt so alone.

It was the last year I spent alone though, as a few weeks after I turned 22 I met df. Luckily I did all my partying at 21 Bd got it out of my system

This thread is making me nostalgic! Not that I'd want to go back...

I was at uni, doing honours in psychology. Partying pretty hard, drinking and clubbing at least a couple of nights a week. I was infatuated with a guy who for all intents and purposes was my boyfriend but he was one of those "I don't want to be in a relationship" types so he was breaking my heart every other day, borderline emotionally abusive. I think it was a real transitional time for me as I was leaving high school friends behind and was meeting people who are now my closest friends.

I was looking after a 1.5 yr old DS1. Moved out of home with DF.

Edited to add: I danced at nationals when I was 21! I can't believe I forgot it was that year!! It was the last time I did it.

I was engaged to my now ex husband but still living with my parents, we were planning a trip to the USA which ultimately never happened as his job got relocated and we had to move out of the area and buy a house together.
