Bedlover we do reading (Ellie turns the pages and I read), tummy time as she is just starting to roll over, walks, playing with a rattle. If I have to do something I just put her in the pram and try talking to her. I notice the playing wears her out pretty quick though. Wouldn't last an hour. So basically I do that til she's had enough and let her zone out a bit without much stimulation afterwards. Either in a pram or swing with a toy or in my lap with music or tv on.

Lots I now have hair all over my house again! When I comb my hair after washing it there are massive clumps coming out. The shower drain is full of it. And I have to wash it more often because it gets oily quicker. Guess there were perks to pregnancy!

Threw up milk half way through bottle then after. First time missed bib completely & pooled in my lap eeewww! Second time grab a facecloth in time! Now asleep sitting on my lap. Tried putting him down but he got upset & had a little chick so sat him back on my lap & instant sleep. Guess he wants to sit today!

Last night he had bad gas & little temp but once he had last feed at 9.45pm he went to sleep and even though kept stirring in pain I was able to resettle quickly as decided to co-sleep in spare room and he didn't fully wake for next feed until 4.45am :0

Unfortunately Hubby now sick been fighting it last few days another reason I co-slept in spare room so he could get needed sleep but he sounded awful this morning so has gone to sick parade (military) & should has been given bed rest so is heading home! now just have to not get sick myself as both my boys need me!

Jay11 - hope your boys get better soon and don't pass it on to you

I had to got to town this morning, which is a 100km round trip, dh said he would be ok to look after E so I was happy to do that. I have left her before but only for a short time and not so early in the day. She was awake when I poked my head in to have one last look before leaving, couldn't help myself and had to pick her up. Her first smile and cuddle of the day is the best thing in the world. Dh reminded me I had better get going and I just burst into tears. He practically had to peal my arms off her and gently manoeuvre me out the door.

Hope your trip was fruitful & you had lots of cuddles & smiles upon return!
I hate not seeing Hilton through the night when hubby takes him ... but I love the sleep too! I love watching him sleep too so relaxed!

Sorry have to share this - the toy is a cloth man that my IVF buddy sent me when we announced our pregnancy. I gave it to him this morning and even when I transferred him to the rocker he held onto it which he has never done as normally he throws his arms around. Grin

Ngaiz how are things going with you and DH injury?
Amps when Ryan was about 4 weeks old DH took him to his mums so I could rest but I didn't rest I was pacing the house checking the window and front door every time I heard a car after the 2 hour mark I felt lost and was so happy to have the home :-). So I understand how hard it is.

Jay11 hope you and your family are getting better
