Erin and I survived her vaccinations this morning. She was sucking on the rotavirus serum like it was tasty!
She with the injections but quietened pretty quick when I .
Little darling seems quite happy now, having a kick and play in her
Dh & I tasted the baby panadol, cherry vanilla flavour, all I can say is EWWWW!
We are glad we waited until she was 8 weeks.

Huge congrats Nirok, I'm so happy to hear your little one finally made it here! I can't wait to hear about your experience at NPH when you get time but hope you get plenty of time to rest. I was at the hospital on Saturday for the last of my antenatal classes and the mw put so much emphasis on the importance of sleeping when bub has there first big sleep after labour so it's very annoying to think they woke you up when it wasn't really necessary!

Lotsa- Abi is so beautiful, she looks like a little doll in her dress. Thanks for sharing the photo

Berra and Riss- you're baby showers look so good & all that yummy food!! I'm glad you both had a fantastic time but it is very overwhelming.

Spidery- I haven't packed yet but need to soon. I'm planning on using the nappy bag for the baby and a separate bag for me. I like the idea of using a nice new clean bag for the baby's things. Also I don't have to take too much to the hospital for bub, only clothes and blankets/ wraps as nappies and wipes are provided so should all fit since the clothes are so little. I'll probably throw in some cloth nappies as well so I can clean any mess or spew.

Nirok-I'd be pretty upset if I had been woken up. None of my midwives woke me to feed in the week I was there. They did tell me to try and feed every 3 hours when L was jaundice but that's it.

Spidery- I had one bag for all bubs stuff. Yay for being on mat leave.

Amps-All brands of Paracetamol are horrible, it's the worst tasting medicine!

12 hr labour that felt a million hours longer!!!!
Baby nameless while dad and I try to get some sleep after being awake for nearly 40 hrs. Despite this, some dum bish of a midwife woke us both up after 2hrs sleep to tell me the baby needed feeding when he was also fast asleep and not interested in feeding. So now on our first night I've sent dp home to get some rest instead of being here with me!!!
Congrats Nirok hope you all are getting sleep and settling in well! Ya!
Oh wow just realised I'm next on the list grins but still reckon he'll be late!

Congratulations to all our new arrivals - so happy to hear also of our little twin girls to our group!

I'm also doing a top up formula (about 50mls) as bf just isn't enough for our hungry little man! Also using the dummy to settle when wind takes hold.

Loving the baby shower pics - beautiful !

Awesome to hear maternity leave starting for some & I look forward to hearing more baby news and birth stories.

Over-all after 2 weeks I feel I'm back in the land of the living, actually cooked dinner at an acceptable time tonight and mopped the floors today ! Woohoo feels like I'm back (for the moment!) lol

A couple of Ryan's photoshoot attached (10 days old) x
