    Congrats Riss and welcome Raffael
    Congrats Annerley and welcome Millie
Hope you both enjoy every minute of it lovely ladies

berra Ryan is a pretty good day sleeper and gets a fair bit of wind and hiccups too so sometimes at night I'm also up about 3-4 times for short feeds or nappies seems he wakes up every 2-3 hours sometimes every 1.5 hours. Tiring I know. Hang in there Ryan is only 11 days old but I'm sure it will get better

Bedlover live your post so descriptive and funny always makes me laugh but yeah talk about hoarding 35 years I am surprised they did not disintegrate lol

    Ngaiz sorry your home sick

AFM: got my friend who visited yesterday( who is also a nurse ) to change my wound dressing and it seems to be healing well so very happy with that.

Seems like everyone else is doing well.

Yay two new babies!! Congrats ladies and welcome to Raffael and Millie

Annabel is definitely keeping me busy. She's so social and much prefers to have someone play with her than amuse herself for very long. Mostly catnaps through the day, but we generally get between 5 and 7 hours for her long sleep at night, then another couple of hours after a feed in the early morning.

Feeling a bit better today but not game to go far from the toilet haha. Yesterday was horrid, got my mum to come out to help. Erin doesn't seem to have caught it so I'm very happy about that.

I know I haven't been active in this thread for a little while.. I still try to scroll through and keep up with what's been happening. A huge congrats everyone who's had their babies.

We have another that was born on 20/06. My waters broke around 10/10.30pm Thursday night. I was given IV antibiotics (I'd tested pos for strep B) and kept in. They recommended hubby go home for some sleep and told him to come back at 5am. I was induced at 5.10am, given some more antibiotics and labour started almost immediately. I was most comfortable in the bath and ended up having a drug free water birth. All went well and our baby girl was born at 9.45am weighing 7 pound 10 ounces (3.455kgs) and 53cms long. I had a little internal tearing and needed a few stitches, which scared me a lot but that wasn't too bad.

Gender was a surprise and we did have names picked either way but turns out I felt the decision was too big and we didn't officially name her until the following day, after much back and forth about it! We decided on Adele Mia.

We're both doing well and came home at lunch time today, with a few planned midwife follow ups at home over the next few days.

Despite having only had a total of a few hours sleep since waking up on Thursday morning, both hubby and I are absolutely smitten with our precious little girl. <3
