Rtkirk despite good milking or expressing & Hilton putting on weight I too am getting disheartened about BF'ing as his weight gain was less this week and now they say he's not getting enough from BF'ing so we either just express bottle feed 100mls or i have to bf the offer 20-30mls of expressed after which seems pointless! Was also given more 'colic' related foods to try to avoid which is depressing! Makes me wonder why I'm breast feeding if I'm making him sick with my milk and I'm under feeding him when he's on the boob!

So this arvo / tonight he has pretty much been unsettled from 12-8pm over two feeds. The 12-4pm was his gas period & 4-8pm I reckon was over stim from going out for Maternity Health appt and dropping into Medical centre where they all wanted to look & a few held him.

Haven't even thought of getting my periods back wow!

My poor boy hate hearing him struggle to breathe it's worse at night. I've ordered a humidifier but it takes upto 10 working days just hope it's here super fast. Tonight even saline drops aren't seeming to help, his distressed little cry is a killer

Poor little man Jay. Lex has had a blocked nose since we got home. My grubby cousin can visiting with a cold.

We've been using the Fess little noses saline spray with the aspirator. It's so hard trying to restrain her when trying to be gentle.

So annoying hey Bedlover. I've done that before.

    http://snotty.com.au/products/nasal-...ors/snotty-one

Saw this at the Sydney baby fair. Wondering if anyone has used it or knows of anyone who has.

Also, any recommendations on baby monitors. Being in Mum and Dad's bigger house means we may need to get one.

    Thanks x

    So gorgeous Cat!

Lots, I love my Angelcare AC1100. I don't use the movement bit but the video part is awesome and I love the temp and timer features. One of my " can't live without" products. We even take it with us when we travel!

Aww Ngaiz Lexi is so gorgeous, is that a smile there?

Catlover, your Stephanie is such a cutie! Hard to believe I'll have one of those soon but really can't wait!!

Jay- I'm with the others, you look great!! Mummy hood looks like it's agreeing with you

Thinking of you too today, Berra!

Lots- I have an angelcare monitor all ready to go as well, mine is a ac402 model, was looking at the ac401 but Baby Bunting had the 402 on sale for a cheaper price earlier this year and it has an extra sensor pad and parent unit that the 401 didn't have. Honestly, looking into monitors was doing my head in but I had always heard good things about angelcare. The one I have doesn't have video, which I'm guessing is the main difference between this one and the one Bedlover suggested.

hwaterhouse- I thought it was you who also had the induction. I think from memory you had two lots of gel, it's hard to know what to expect and guess I'll have to see how I go! This time next week if will all be happening (or if I'm extra lucky, she'll be here already) but hopefully she still comes on her own earlier in the week- fingers crossed

Arlais- wow I had forgotten about getting my period back too! Hope you are still feeling well from it

Panda- glad to hear V went well with her needles, what a good little girl she is. Did you use any Panadol at all just in case or was she fine without anything?
