Hi ladies just wanted to say that DH and I have had our baby today the 10.6.14 @ 12:06pm via c section. We had a baby boy and his name is Ryan Phillip weighs 8 pounds is 54 cm long and head circ is 36cm. He is just so beautiful and we are in love.
So glad we booked c section as during c section obs noted Ryan had meconium in uterine at some point in the last 24-48 hours so something had stressed him out.

Spidery congratulations on the birth of your beautiful son Ryan.
AFM we are having vaccinations tomorrow. My poor LO, hope she is one of these that cries for a split second then forgets about it.

Interesting article Ngaiz, makes sense what they say about fear of loss.
I know I didn't expect breastfeeding to be soooo hard. Definitely a shock and I went into labour!

Congrats Spidery!! He's a little spunk!! Hope you are enjoying some quiet time with breastfeeding.

    Good luck with vaccinations panda!
It is definitely harder for the parents than the child.
A couple of days after Abi's shots she gave us a 6 hour block of sleep! Oh how I miss those days :/

I guess moving is going to effect her sleep for a bit too.

Oh I haven't told you ladies about my flight!

So Abigail was amazing! Fed for take off and landing which helped her ears. Then for most of the trip the clucky air hostest held her!! I'm talking served everyone else in business class first so she could feed me last and take my baby to hold. Then proceeded to do the test of the flight one handed! Someone wanted a wine and she brought out the bottle and made them pour the bottle themselves! Haha!
Of course Abi looooved being walked around and slept the whole time. I got to eat my yummy salmon lunch using a knife AND a fork (not one handed) and even flipped through the in flight mag quickly.
By the time I got her back we wre starting to descend!
She was really lovely and I was so thankful for her keeping Abi so content that flight.
Definitely going to be hard to top that one!!
