Annerley, good luck with your decision.
Could you just get a stretch and sweep and see how it goes? Like you said you could always get the induction later if need be.
I can understand why talk of all of this might make you feel scared. Of course you don't want to risk anything with your precious bundle this late in the stage. It sounds like your body has done well so far tho.

Your body will go into labour when it's ready. But my midwife got me to express colostrum close to my due date. A) to freeze as back up food in the beginning and
    B) because it releases oxytocin.
You could give that a try. ??

I have birth at 40+1 and at my stretch and sweep two days before I was 2cm.
Everyone is different as with all babies. You'll know what's right to do xx

Ngaiz, can't believe you've had so much trouble dealing with the nipple thrush. Why aren't they helping you? How frustrating.
Hope you have a lovely weekend too thanks! 😊

    Tell me about it

Is 11.08am and Lex has pretty much been awake since 5.30am. Looks like we are just catnapping today and I've got so much to do with having friends over tonight.

We had a bad evening yesterday - R up from 4pm to 9pm. It is so frustrating, I just want to be able to explain to her that she would feel better if she just closed her eyes!!! No such luck!!

Haha, that's exactly what dh was just saying to L bedlover. Meanwhile, she's still fighting it. I'm just glad that once she does eventually go down she sleeps well.

Ngaiz, you poor thing! Hope it all gets better soon..

    Congrats STC Benjamin is gorgeous!

I'm hearing you all with unsettled babies not sleeping and eating often... I have another one over here! I'm trying to get in a routine and it's not working great.. During the day Mia is catnapping (max 30 mins) and will really only sleep for hours if you hold her the whole time With feeding, it's anywhere between every hour to every 2 hours during the day. At night is better, between 3 to 5 hours..

DH is going back to work next week and I've already warned him it doesn't look like I'll get much done and will probably still be in my pjs when he gets home! Lol

Yesterday we had a good day, today not so good. Once again sleeping is sporadic during the day. I'm talking a 35 min, a 40 min and an hour nap since 10 am. I guess I should count the drifting off in the car capsule and in my arms which would amount to a few minutes here and there. She also lay in her pram for an hour with a cover over her and every time I checked her eyes were wide open. It's so frustrating.
jJ unfortunately when they don't sleep during the day you get very little done. I'm considering putting her in the sling tomorrow if we have another bad day.
