I was able to register for Medicare when I dropped in the proof of birth docs.

Bedlover you can get the Happy baby dummy from Chemist Warehouse. It's like $3 for 3 they are so cheap but work great. I have also seen them in Coles.
Nirok fingers crossed that things start happening for you soon.
I will have to chase up Medicare etc on Monday. Bubs has his six week shots next week so will probably need the card. Can't believe it's been 6 weeks soon. Time flies!

When I did my medicare stuff earlier this week the lady told me that everything is currently running behind and not to expect anything for 6-8 weeks.

If you're only after the card number, I got L's on a docket as I needed it for her scan today.

So is it quicker to get it if I do it online? Just realised I'd better hurry up and do it tomorrow as I will be going in for immunisation when I see paediatrician for my 6 week appointment soon.

Team Panda, if u go into Medicare to get card, they give u a temporary paper card to use until real card is posted.
