    Yay new thread!

PPL - I submitted my claim online, took in proof of birth when bub was a week old. I was told 4 weeks to process. I called up after 4 weeks had passed and they pulled it out of the queue. I will finally receive funds next week - Annabel will be 8 weeks old! My work was paid the funds this week, but have to wait until my normal pay day. The Easter public holidays didn't help, they were set back another week then.

Dummies - Annabel will rarely accept one. The only time she does is when she's in the pram or I'm cuddling her really tightly and her mouth is close to my chest/shoulder so the dummy doesn't fall out easily.

    Lots gorgeous pics.
ABH we use the Happy dummy cherry tip. She has been taking it since the first week, especially after a feed when she is unsettled. The nurses were fine with it as it she is a good feeder.
can someone tell me whether I can register baby with Medicare before filling in the Centrelink forms?

ABH I use the Happy Dummy for bubs and have since week one. The midwives suggested it as Lucas is a comfort sucker and one night I was bf for 2 hours! No thanks. We only use it to settle him down.
I am still waiting on bubs Medicare, birth certificate and PPL. Submitted everything three weeks ago. Got a letter requesting proof of birth, which I had given online, so going to pop in to the local centrelink on Monday to hopefully clear it up. Ahhh frustrating.

We tried a dummy to calm Lexi when I was having trouble feeding but she wouldn't have a bar of it. She does suck her thumb every now and then but I find that pretty cute

Where can I buy Happy Baby? Have tried nuk, tomee tippee, miomee and others to no avail!

Hang in there nirok! I can imagine the frustration but would encourage you to sleep 24 x 7 while you can. I wish I could!!!

    Nirok hope you pop soon!

We have registered Medicare and nothing else as we had to go to the doctors. Apparently it was fairly easy (DH did it).
