Question I need a new Vacume - your recomendations please

As the title says, I need to buy a new vacuum cleaner. I had an Electrolux for 12 months and its blown up already . I wasn't really that happy with it in the first place, so off I go to buy a new one! Can you recommend any really brands that you have been happy with. What features does it have and what made you buy that particular brand? Thanks Hubbers

Miele. I have two Miele vacuums now. I bought one about 9 yrs ago and it's never failed me. I love it. Then when DF (bf at the time) needed a new one he bought the same. so now we have two. One for the car one for the house.

We use the car and dog one for upstairs. It's awesome at picking up all the dog hairs from the carpets

Dyson! Bought an upright which is very easy to move and picks up so much. Makes you cringe to think how dirty everything is ... lol

    Dyson. Best. Vacuum. Ever.
I have had mine for ten years and it is still as good as the first day I bought it. When I first used it I thought OMG.

I have the Dyson stick vacuum and it's fantastic.

I can easily do the whole house with it and it's still got charge left.
