Default A positive and a negative?

Hi all. I'm just wanting some opinions re home pregnancy tests.

I am 12 dpo and did a first response pregnancy test and got a very faint positive line at 3 mins. Faint but definitely there. I went and got some clear blue digital tests and did one which returned a negative. I know I need to wait a day or so, but out of curiosity which one you you rely on at this point?

We weren't trying so it doesn't matter if you don't want to hurt my feelings

It's my understanding that the FRER tests are more sensitive than the Clear Blue ones. I've not used the CB ones, but have gotten a very early positives with FRER.

Yes I've heard the clear blue are not reliable. I wish I knew before I forked out $20 for it!

What do you think? In real life the line is darker and definitely noticeable. Not here though....

I used this one too and got the same, a very very faint line, literally just enough to say that looks like a line. Other tests earlier were neg too. Your hormones can take some time to read, apparently the first few weeks of preg can not show on a stick so the doctor said, give it a couple weeks n try again as your hormones get stronger. But yep I was preg!

Thank you. It's all I can do just to stop myself going out to buy more. I only bought the one first response as I thought I had a feeling and just wanted to dismiss it. Now my head is spinning I just want to know one way or another

Haha thanks I think Going to have to go out and get more tests. Also, I tested the clear blue about 1 hour after the first response. I just went to the shop bought some more tests, chugged down a coke then peed on the stick.

We weren't trying but we wouldn't be against either. I so hope I'm pregnant though

It's infuriating that I can clearly see a faint line but I can't get a photograph of it. I've just done another one, it's the same faint but clear line.

I used to to be addicted to these hpt threads (guilty secret) so I can't believe I have my own.

    What do you think?

    I see the line.
try again with the frer and fmu. Or wait 3 days and most tests will give a correct result the day af is due.
hope it's a sticky baby for you!
