I hope your DH gave you a decent break when he got home.

I'll echo what others have said about the TV. My DD has watched so much there is no novelty anymore and she frequently turns it off to go play. Don't beat yourself up about it. The fact that you are actually aware of their TV watching says to me that you are a caring mum who will make sure her kids get lots if time and attention when you're not so worn down.

You have done really well to reach out to DH while being so overwhelmed. You sound like you're doing a really great job of raising young children. Getting out of the house after you have had a sleep might do you the world of good, even if its for a brief while. Sometimes a house full of things that need doing can make things seem worse than they really are. I'm sure one day the children will grow up and really appreciate what a wonderful mother they have had and how lucky they have been to have you.

At this point, the TV is a minor detail not worth worrying about.

    Have a good day. X

Agree with PP do whatever you need to to get through this phase, I would run the telly all day if it helped, it's not forever.

Exhaustion is just a terrible terrible terrible thing, your DH needs to be putting in 100% till things fall into place for your new bigger family.

Huge hugs, I know you have been struggling at times, you are not alone or unheard xxxxxxxxxx
