Default HCG levels in early pregnancy

    Hi ladies,

Just wondering if anyone has had the same issue, or can help me translate.

1st mc after conceiving naturally, 2nd mc on Clomid in February. This is my 1st cycle since mc and I got a BFP on 12dpo. My bloods have come back at 33 for HCG and 97.8 for progesterone.

I know 33 is low, and I go in for follow up bloods at 14dpo, has anyone had similar figures and gone on to have baby? And the progesterone, why would that be so high?

I don't know about progesterone, but in regards to hcg, it's not the original number that matters, but if it increases. My hcg was 14, two days after my period was due, I was so scared, im currently breast feeding her as I write this

Don't talk yourself into tragedy, try your hardest to enjoy it, I regret all the hours of welding I spent just waiting for something to go wrong.

    Wishing you the very best

Everyone is different. Your number is more than doubling so it is a good sign.

    Hi all,
have had a stressful week - hcg of 850 in week 5. week 7- suspected ectopic, night in emergency, bloods done hcg 1100, internal ultrasound - empty sac, can't see tubes or ovaries, plan for key hole exploration to get ectopic before too much damage to tubes. Next day - bloods show hcg level 1200, but progesterone levels are low, so on way ward to book in for surgery we do one last vaginal ultrasound - a baby is found !!! Lower than usual heartbeat but there !!!
Anyone with a similar story ? I'm trying to stay positive and 'will' peanut to stay put !!!!
