    I was going to guess boy, this is ours at 17 weeks for comparison… But I'd be more inclined to believe the sonographer's opinion, they're certainly more experienced than me!

    One thing you have to understand about ultra sounds is that the angle means everything. I have several potty shots of my boy where you would swear he is a girl...and then suddenly there is his penis. Just cause the angle changes...same with my baby girl. My sonographer said girl and I begged to see the 3 white lines and it took a good few minutes to purposefully find them... And if he had taken a photo during the time of looking you would swear I was having a boy... In fact I kept waiting for him to tell me he changed his mind...

    Unless the sonographer was deliberately taking this photo for gender reasons it isn't really reliable iykwim?? If he said girl I would trust it as 16 weeks is more than enough gestation to tell...

    I dId go to a actual gender scan place and she did look all around for a penis so hopefully there right.

    Oh ok and did they give you this photo as confirmation? I only ask cause its not the best one... Was bub being a bit uncooperative?

    I think it's a bit early to be accurate? All babies start with no boy bits they only come out later some as late as 20 weeks. Theres lot of cases when one is told to be a girl then turn out to be a boy.
    I don't see 3 lines on the scan.
