    Default Should I be worried?

I'm 6 weeks and 2 days pregnant. I got my first blood test at 5 weeks and my hcg level was only 10. The doctor sent me for a second lot which I got done two days ago and I just got the results and my hcg is still very low at 130. He didn't seem concerned and said it varied greatly from person to person but everywhere online says the normal range for 6 weeks is over 1000.

He gave me a referral to get an ultrasound done but he said that was just to determine how far along I am. Maybe I have it wrong? I'm kind of freaking out though.

Bumping for you, I'm clueless when it comes to the numbers/levels etc side of things regarding pregnancy. Good luck, hopefully someone here knows and has some advice x It's terrible feeling such worry!

It should be doubling every 48 hours. How many days since first blood test?

The tests were 7 days apart so they more than doubled every 48 hours. The only thing I can think of is maybe I'm not as far along as I think.

When will you have your scan? If its still a way off maybe get another BT to make sure the levels are doubling still.

There is also this website http://www.betabase.info/ that has a lot of info on HCG levels and a calculator for processing the doubling times.

I usually have a lower HCG level on BT's when first getting them done, not as low as yours, but never over 100 to begin with. Best of luck
