    Default Miscarriage then chemical...jeez

    Hi ladies
Long story made short....I had a miscarriage at 8 weeks in Feb, d&c beginning of March, AF in April, BFP Saturday, Sunday and Monday, BFN Tuesday morning... I'm due for AF today.

The + line was much lighter Monday, so I wasn't expecting good news Tuesday morning, but still hopeful. What a cruel joke!!

Anyway... are there any others out there who have had a chem following a miscarriage? I'm just wondering if it's something to do with my previous miscarriage, something wrong with me, or just bad luck?

    Hi OP,
I'm so sorry for your losses.
I miscarried in Dec '13 and had a D&C then got a BFP in Feb 14 and AF came the next day
I'm now 9w pregnant and so far my scans have been good. The first thing my fertility dr did was put me on low dose aspirin and said my previous mc's could be a result of genetics-which is really bad luck.
I hope you get a sticky BFP soon! X

    Thanks Chillies, and congrats
I'm actually hoping it is bad luck. Why did your dr put you on aspirin?
I don't think I'll see my ob, I'm actually a bit scared to because he told me to wait 3 months before ttc but I only waited 2!

The test line today is verrrry faint, still no AF.

A girlfriend of mine just gave birth to a gorgeous (big) boy this week. She had a MC, a chem and then a sticky one.
Good luck to you OP, hopefully third time is a charm!

    Thank you!

Well he explained that aspirin reduced the chance of mc by 25% and he figured there was no harm in doing something simple to try and increase my chances of a sticky. I asked him how does it reduce the chance but he was unsure. I don't care, I am taking that as well as folic acid and preg multi vitamin. He said that even if i wasn't preg he would be starting me on them so I'm not gunna argue with that logic lol!

Ok might talk to my dr about aspirin, I don't really care what it does either, if it helps it helps! I'm taking a multi-vitamin and folic acid too.

Thanks Katiesmum. Even though I only thought I was preg for 4 days this time, it hurts, because in those 4 days I looked up my due date, when I would have my ultrasounds etc, I even looked up the Chinese gender chart lol

    Still no AF!!

    Just to update...

On Wednesday afternoon I took another hpt to make sure it was negative, but it was a nice line and darker than Monday's!! To be honest I felt a flash of hope, but then a couple of hours later I started to spot. Woke up Thursday morning with heavy bleeding, so no hope now and I guess I count that as CD1. Although sad, I'm a little relieved to at least have a definite answer.
