The SLE got scrapped a couple of years ago. FEE-HELP is what I used for my Diploma and planned to use for my Bachelor. It is capped at $96000

The year I turn 65 the pension age is going to be raised to 70.

DF and I have now lost FTB.

Axed the dental scheme - we will no longer be able to afford dental visits - DS has ongoing dental issues and for consistency we would prefer to go to our local dentist.

    Petrol more expensive.

Funding cuts for the only source of quality media broadcasts in Australia.

More expensive to visit the GP and/or hospital and more expensive to have a script filled.

Dumping Gonski because it was an ALP initiative.

Thanks LNP voters, no really, thanks.

I actually quiet like the budget and don't really have any problems with it. Seems like it's going to help reduce the major debt problem we have

If there is a debt problem, why did the current government raise the debt ceiling by $300bn, yet rejected Labor's request to raise it by $50bn when they were in office?

Can you imagine doing a 4 year teaching degree and coming out with a 200k debt? You would never pay it off before you retire.
Oh I am not so stressed then. Seriously, who really gets to pay there hecs anyway. I know one person out of all my friends.

Im shocked about pp and gps. All my doctors bulk bill. Even without concessions.

Every major economist has said we don't have a major debt problem though - and if it's so bad why did the Libs remove the 2%cap on spending by the portfolios as soon as they got into govt?
