Default How on earth are we supposed to choose?

    Hi Everyone!

I'm really hoping that someone can provide some inspiration! I live in Melbourne and my husband and I are planning on starting a family very soon and we have made the decision to go private after much Um-ing and Ah-ing. The public hospital I am 'Zoned' to is definitely not an option!

There are so MANY Obstetricians and I am feeling incredibly overwhelmed by the research and trying to understand the fees makes me dizzy. We are looking at Frances Perry House/St Vincents... I would LOVE some Obstetrician recommendations and an idea of the Pregnancy Management Fee you paid!

    Hi NLP

it can definitely be a bit overwhelming. Do you have private health insurance? (going to a private hospital is not usually an option unless you have PHI as it is super expensive).

check out our section on Seeking a Health Care provider (here) for lots of information about different hospitals and doctors.

Otherwise, the search function will help you check out what our members have to say about any particular Dr.

    Best of luck
