I am giving it my very best shot this month and after this will move to not preventing before seeing my FS to do IUI or IVF later this year. It will be 9 month by that time and with Endo and PCO I think i don't want to wait longer. Trying to get my first ivf in while I am off work anyway if it has to come to this. I would be 10-12 cycles then. My FS recommended seeing him for further options after 6 cycles despite being only 28 only because of the severe pain I get during menstruation and him not wanting to have to do another lap.

Joining in! 28 and trying for no 2. Just had 2nd miscarriage (1st was before my ds was born) so just waiting for af now. I tend to get pregnant easily but have had 3 pregnancies now with only 1 live birth so feeling a bit deflated. Hopefully the next one is my lucky no 2. Baby! @melimum I think you and I were in the same dig Feb 2014! So happy to see you back and looking for your next bundle

Dr says to wait and try for a year which if kinda sad but also good because it gives us more saving time and more time to be "ready"
Did u wait a year then sort a FS?
Anyone is brissy can recommend anywere?
It took me 16 months to conceive but I tried alternative things such as soy isoflavones. This time I'll be seeing a fertility specialist or gyno. I'm in brissy too and would love to hear recommendations too.

Did you fall pregnant on your own or did u need clomid? Or did the alternative stuff work?

The only time I ovulated was when I took soy isoflavones. Fell pregnant that cycle. I have taken it since and it hasn't worked so I guess I will need clomid.

    Hi,
I just wanted to introduce myself - first time posting. I'm 28 and hubby and I have just gone off the pill (2 weeks ago, after being on it for most of 13 years) to start trying for #1. I'm a bit nervous, but I'm trying to be realistic that it might not happen for a while. I bought the 'maybe baby' saliva ovulation test so that I can start getting an idea of cycle. I'm also taking multivitamins and folic acid. Are there any other recommendations from others that we should be doing for this stage of ttc?
It's reassuring and nice to have company on these forums. Thank you for sharing your experiences and stories.

@JustJess86 I think you're doing well stay hydrated and see how you go. Some people fall straight away after coming off the pill hopefully you're one of them!

Hi @JustJess86, me too! I've been off the pill for a couple of months, I'm 29 and my husband and I have not been TTC just yet but we're hoping to start next month. I've found my cycle since being off the pill has been very long. It took 48 days for my first period to come and I'm now on day 43 waiting for my next one. I've just started a new job which has turned my world upside down so I feel as though that could be a contributor.

I'm positive I've been ovulating but I'd be interested in the ovulation test kits to confirm this when it happens - where did you get yours from?

Good luck with your first month! My best friend conceived twins straight after coming off the pill so it can definitely happen

I was referred to the hospital gyno clinic back in April and was told I was on the waiting list. I thought it would be a 6 month wait, being the public system. Anyways, fast forward to yesterday and I get a phone call from the booking clinic to see if I am available for an appointment today

So excited/nervous! And my body is still being shady - CD51 today

How is everyone doing? Where are you on your journey?
