We only BD'd once during the fertile period I think though. Had a blood test yesterday to see if I ovulated, specialist should have it tomorrow Arvo but not sure if they will tell me over the phone (follow up appt in a few wks)
How did you go with your blood results? Did they tell you over the phone?

Fingers crossed that one time was enough for you

We only BD once around my fertile time too. But seeing as it's CD1 today (AF showed up properly today), I think I may have ovulated on CD 13/14, and we didn't BD until CD 15. We must have missed the window!
Oh well.. It'll happen when it's meant to happen! Trying not to beat myself up about it. But it is hard!

@Nerak I was about to call today, then I remembered the doctor I saw only consults there once a month, so he won't get the results until next time he's there when I have my next appointment anyway! Oh well.

Ovulation time snuck up on me last month because I wasn't used to having a cycle so it may have been too late for us too! But I will be on the ball this month, specialist basically said to BD on day 10, 12, 14, 16, 18 for best chance

@missess oh damn! I hate waiting. Lol

I think we might try that too (BD every second day). I'm going to cut back on my coffee habit this month, see if it makes a difference. I've kind of gone off it this month! Not sure why.. so it shouldn't be too hard. I think I drink it now, just out of habit.

One of my oldest and dearest friends, who I hardly see these days (she lives interstate), called to tell me she's pregnant! She's still keeping it quiet for a while- I'm a good secret keeper! 😁
I'm so happy for her, but felt a pang of jealousy when she told me! I feel horrible for having those feelings, I guess I really want it to be us.
Hopefully I'll be able to share our news with her soon ☺️

So CD2 here, bleeding is heavy and painful. I hate endo!
Just hanging out for AF to leave so we can start trying again!

Well AF came on Saturday (our cycles must be very close @Nerak!)...a little disappointing but at least my body seems to be back on track so going to have a damn good go at making a baby this cycle!

I should probably cut down caffeine too :/ I'm suffering that much fatigue at the moment though that I don't know how I would cope without it, viscious cycle I know!

I know how you feel about people making their announcement, I had a friend announce her 2nd recently, which was the 2nd time she got pregnant with one try! Don't worry our time will come soon

Oh Miss Ess, I'm sorry she came!
    It is disappointing, huh?

I've not had coffee for the past two days, I feel like I'm getting sick! I think it's just the withdrawal symptoms! 😳 lol

Let's hope this month is our month. We might join the due in threads together ☺️

Work has been crazy busy lately! I haven't had much time to get on here. Nice to have a bit of down time this morning to catch up on BH 😂 lol

If anyone in SA is interested and sees this in time, an ad just popped up in Facebook for a seminar at Repromed TONIGHT. Apparently it's about everyday things you can do to increase your chances Of pregnancy. Disappointed it's the one weeknight I can't go! Oh well BDing every other day this week fingers crossed!!

Hey everyone, I'm new to bubhub

I'm 24, and DH is 25 we have been ttc for about two years without much success - there were months that we missed too.

We decided to try a little harder and get fitter, healthier and take on any tips or tricks we hear.

Has anyone heard of anything that might help us being successful?

I've heard random things like cough syrup and folic acid and for males even goji berries, Berocca and aloe Vera juice?

Welcome MaryJane! Have you seen a doctor to discuss fertility? I haven't been trying long myself so can't really help you with any tips, sorry!

Well TGIF! I'm going home soon to try and make a baby! Haha don't think I've ovulated yet but according to FF it should be any day now

Hi @Miss Ess! We haven't been to see anyone as yet. We thought we should try properly to give it a better shot, using all the tips and tricks we can plus dtd every couple days. Hopefully it works for us soon.

Hoping this is your month too!!

What about Acupucture MaryJane? Lots of people swear by it!

I'm confused, I haven't notice any signs of ovulation and at day 20 of cycle so assumed it had been and gone. And my fiancé got a bloody awful exertion headache when we were trying to BD on the day FF predicted ovulation lol

Then today I noticed EWCM on the toilet paper several times today.

How is everyone else going? Been very quiet in here lately
