My husband secretly bought and organised the kids to do a painting for me. I was lucky and got it last weekend. I absolutely love it!

I just got a bfp!!! And have something from daycare to unwrap later. Lunch with my mum and dad and sister and her partner. And I was too slow to get my wish list to hubby so I think we will stop off on the way to lunch and I'll get him to get me a new coffee mug - one of the really pretty ones that myer have.

    Happy Mother's Day!

My boys each made me a lovely cat picture, a heart- shaped card and body scrub in luminous colours

Df surprised me with 3 pandora charms which must have cost a bomb! well, at least more than I would have spent because he said he easily passed the threshold at which you got the free bracelet, which is also lovely:

Mum came over yesterday and helped me for the house a thorough clean, and also paid for half of a skirt from intimo for me

Df and ds1 are on a maccas brekky run right now for me- haha I don't feel like maccas but they were so excited

I got a lovely card made by DS1 at preschool with his hands and a piece of ribbon saying I love you this much.

DS1 made DF help him make me breakfast in bed which was vegemite toast and hot milo. DS2 came in and pinched a piece of toast and the milk was bad so I didn't drink the hot chocolate but I'm happy. DS1 is excited and DS2 keeps wandering in and giving me hugs

I also got a bit more sleep last night. DS2 routinely wakes between 11:30-12:30 for a feed but he didn't wake until 3!

I'm feeling completely unappreciated by DH.
My kids have been super excited and DD1 bought me some little gifts at the school stall with the money I gave to her, even though I did ask DH to be the one to 'give' it to her. Anyway she got her younger bro and sis to help make me some cards etc yesterday which is really sweet and makes me so happy. What makes me upset though is she has been wanting to make me breakfast in bed but she/they need help in the kitchen, DH is currently still asleep in bed. I've fed myself and all 3 kids. Swept the floor and done the dishes that he didn't do last night while I was out. DH has been not well the past few months (a breakdown of sorts) and I've done everything for him to help him out. And he can't even get out of bed to make me a cup of tea?! 😞 I know it's not about presents, I don't want need or expect presents but seriously Christmas- nothing, my 30th bday-nothing, valentines day- nothing and now this. No cards, no flowers, no breakfast or tea or coffee- nothing! Sorry didn't mean to hijack with a pity post, but for some reason I'm gutted. Completely gutted.

That's so unfair. You've got every right to feel ripped off. I'd say something to him. From how you've described your kids they sound absolutely gorgeous and adorable. Take that as a tribute to how great you are. Happy mothers day. Xxxx

    HAPPY MOTHERS DAY EVERYONE!!!!!

I already got my present - an A4 grey felt compendium (maybe its called something else but it has a note pad in it and room for papers and a pen) plus a matching bag from Kikki K.

Nothing fantastic, but I personally put Mothers Day down to being another hallmark day like valentines day. So it was more of a token gift, but that doesn't bother me.

I got a super cute card from DS that he made at play group (DH takes him there so I had no clue he'd made it for me). I burst into tears!

I also got Chopard Wish perfume which I'm looking forward to wearing

Off to my parents today for lunch, should be a good day.

    Happy Mothers Day everyone!

I was lucky enough to get breakfast in bed with a cold coffee from my 6&7 year old and they also gave me some cute gifts they had made for me at school along with some hand made cards so I'm feeling special.
Happy Mothers Day to all xx

I am thinking it will just be a day like every other day. DS is 3 and has been ordered to give mummy extra cuddles today, and he drew a picture of me at daycare in which I'm very much looking my age! I'll go and see my Nanna later and try to call mum overseas.
