Yeah, the level of cooking might have got up but it's at the expense of some personality.
I just don't care for any of them this year, not sure why that is.
They should film inside the Masterchef home from time to time, so we can get to know the contestants more.

I think Gary, George and Matt are deluding themselves that it is a "serious cooking show", rather than "reality TV" per se, hence no filming inside the house.

I hope Matty P wears his cravat tonight...it was oddly unnerving last night.

Absolutely, but I have a bad feeling that Emelia may win.
If Jamie wins we should all write to Channel 10 outlining just how offensive we found him!!

I also have a feeling she's going to win.

If Emilia wins I will be sending an invoice to channel 10. My tv will surely be smashed by the remote I will throw at it.

I'm actually really liking Laura! She is one of the only people who have cooked a few things that I've thought 'Oh man I want to learn how to make that!', especially her gnocchi roll! YUM.

Nooooooooo!!!!!!!! I can't stand her. Mind you, I've never been happy with who wins at the end of each season, so I guess it kind of fits.

He comes in to my work sometimes, always sans cravat - it always looks a bit wrong

Me too. She's young. But seems nice. And wow... I couldn't cook like that at 19.... Still can't!

Laura seems to be driven by producing food that tastes yummy, rather than doing w*nky things with squid ink (sorry again, Harvs sweetie!). She beats herself up about her plating skills, but usually her food sounds the yummiest. I would like her to win. She is the least offensive.
