Just a question, I have transfer booked at 1pm near parramatta (westmead for those in Sydney), and my flight to nz is 340. I'm first transfer of the day, so confident I'll be in and out in half an hr, and will get to the airport by 230, but check in for bags will have closed. Any idea what time check in opens for international flights? I was hoping to drop bags at airport round 12pm and check in then, race off to transfer then just come back and go straight to immigration?
Sorry, I can't help you with flights, but I will say this... Wahayyyyyy all systems go - how exciting for Friday !!!!

Fantastic news finally !!! Good on ya @stephiew - you are sooooooo lucky and I am so happy for you! Hopefully that's the start of a flurry of BFP's. God knows there's enough of us waiting atm.
As for the munchies... yep, just demolished a bacon/egg/cheese burger for brekky and still thinking about food. Maybe I need to go get a big coffee to fill up on. Decaf of course.

Well my attempts at thinking positively are crashing down atm. Finally got the call from the lab to say of my 3 mature eggs, only 1 fertilised normally. The other 2 fertilised abnormally. And FS wants it put back in tomorrow ie Day 2! I asked about analysis of other 2 for answers as to why they didnt fertilise properly, but they apparently dont do that. Sitting here in tears thinking I have no hope again. Anyone ever had a Day2 transfer with only 1 emby?

    Well done!

Regarding your anaesthetic, what you experienced was 'awareness' and I would actually call the anaesthetist about that as he may have some special advice for you to tell your anaesthetic doctor for future procedures.

DH is going to go to airport and check I the bags, we will have checked in online so I can go to transfer then go to airport and just go through immigration. We aren't taking lots of bags, so he can check them in under his name. I'm confident i can get to airport in time. IF not, DH will go on earlier flight get car rental etc and wait for me on the later one,
i agree, you will make it. Just make sure the clinic know you need to be out of there for a specific time. Get those running shoes on! And enjoy nz!

    Congratulations !!!!

Re: sedation - yeah, no luck here. My first one was horrific. They told me not everyone sleeps, so I was expecting to probably be awake - but I felt EVERYTHING. It was awful. Second EPU the following stim cycle, I was really frightened before hand - the specialist was lovely, gave the sedation a LONG time to work and made sure I was fine throughout the procedure. Part of me thinks the first specialist was just rushing - it was bang, drugs in, ovary stabbing - and it certainly wasn't great. I didn't have huge numbers either, 5 in the first round, 3 retrieved in the second.

    What happened with yours? @stephiew

I don't know about day 2's, but that happened in my first cycle (5 retrieved, but only 1 sad emby at day 3, which they put back.) Big massive hugs. How frustrating, love. x
